SOME OF MY FRUSTRATIONS

I get so frustrated with things an dpeople and life and status quo.

And this post will be about something that gets me about people, ESP here in the South. Its de facto segreagtion. Everyone sticks to and makes friends and hang out with people who look just like them.

AND THEN you have the AUDACITY to say that YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO RELATE to someone of a different race, ethnic group, socioeconomic status, religion or WHAT HAVE YOU from you.

Now, let me be clear, Im not saying, my best friends in the world are white, Asian, Hispanic, Muslim, SUPERrich or whatever, but, I dont ASSUME BECAUSE i am different from someone, I cannot relate to them.

If you think Im tripping look around you, talk to your friends. AND especially when it comes to the gospel of Christ being shared, TOO OFTEN, people are too comfortable speaking to the people they know, and invite those people to bible study or any Christian events, meanwhile you could REACH SO MANY MORE people if you'd just get over race, and other factors.

One of the most segregated places is Churches on Sunday mornings. We can sit around all day and discuss why this is so, and whose fault or responsibility assimilation is, OR we can play a role in changing this, and stop being SO COMFORTABLE.

I know for me, I often meet and hit it OFF with people who look NOTHING like me faster than I have with SOME people of my own race. So, the moral of the story is stop making ASSUMPTIONS. Cuz u know what they say about ASSUME ing......

The moral of the story is.....GIVE EVERYONE WHO DOES NOT LOOK LIKE YOU A HUG TMRW.

Lol, No, Look around you, and DARE to be different.
